Rep. Madeleine Dean (PA-04)
Congresswoman Madeleine Dean was born and raised in Glenside, Pennsylvania. She graduated from La Salle University and earned her law degree at Widener University. For nearly ten years, she was a professor of writing at LaSalle University. Congresswoman Dean then served as a State Representative for six-and-a-half years before being elected to Congress in 2018 to represent Pennsylvania’s Fourth District, Berks and Montgomery Counties.* Now in her fourth term, Congresswoman Dean serves on the House Appropriations and House Foreign Affairs Committees. In Congress, Madeleine remains focused on decency and the common good — that means addressing issues that affect Americans deeply, including gun violence, the opioid epidemic, education and college affordability, and women’s issues.
