Barak Ravid is a political correspondent for Axios based in Washington DC and covering national security, foreign policy and the 2024 presidential elections. He is also the Washington correspondent for Walla! News in Israel. Ravid began his career in journalism in 2005 as a diplomatic correspondent for the Israeli NRG news website. From there, he moved to the Haaretz daily newspaper, where he spent a decade as a diplomatic correspondent and columnist. In 2017, he was appointed as the chief diplomatic correspondent of Channel 13, a position he held until 2020. Over the last 17 years, Ravid has extensively covered Israel’s national security and foreign policy, as well as US policy in the Middle East. He has reported from more than 30 capitals in five continents, covered five Israeli prime ministers and four US presidents.

Over the course of his career, Ravid has published hundreds of exclusive stories on the Middle East peace process, Israel’s relations with the Arab world, the Iran nuclear crisis and the US-Israeli relationship. In 2019 and 2020, Ravid published two series of detailed reports on the secret relationship between Israel and the Gulf states.

The Abraham Accords were signed a few months later. In early December 2021 Ravid Published his book “Trump’s Peace: The Abraham Accords And The Reshaping Of The Middle East” in Hebrew in Israel. It was the first book about Trump’s signature foreign policy achievements in the Middle East and quickly became a bestseller. In May 2022 the book was published in English and is available on Amazon. Ravid is a frequent guest on US television networks. He has given numerous interviews on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, CBS and Newsmax.

He has a large social media presence, with more than 215,000 followers on Twitter and his newsletter, “Axios from Tel Aviv”, is sent out to 30,000 subscribers every week.

Ravid holds a BA in Middle East History from Tel Aviv University. He is married to Dr. Adi Prizan-Ravid, and they have two children – Yuval and Uri.

Adina Vogel-Ayalon is J Street’s Vice President and Chief of Staff. Adina joined J Street in 2015 as the Deputy Israel Director and in 2020, she served as J Street’s Israel Director before taking on the role of Chief of Staff in 2021. Prior to J Street, Adina worked at the Shimon Peres Center for Peace and Innovation in the Development and External Relations Department, where she gained extensive experience in developing and initiating Israeli-Palestinian people-to-people, peacebuilding programs in a variety of sectors, including peace education, healthcare, business, and environment. Adina holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Boston University and Master’s in Conflict Resolution and Mediation from Tel Aviv University. During undergrad, Adina served as the Vice President and President of the Palestinian-Israeli Peace Alliance, a pivotal experience that led her to pursue a career in the promotion of Israeli-Palestinian peace. After making Aliyah in 2009, Adina worked and volunteered for several Israeli peacebuilding non-profits. In addition to her involvement in the Israeli peace industry, Adina, the daughter of a cantor and product of Jewish day schools and camps, feels deeply connected to the American Jewish community. Adina grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and lived on Kibbutz Givat Brenner in Israel for 12 years before relocating back to the United States.
