J Street Education Fund Digital Ad Warns Against Rising White Nationalist Violence, Urges Young Pennsylvanians to Vote

October 5, 2020

The J Street Education Fund (JSEF) today launched a new $65,000 paid digital ad directed at young potential voters in the state of Pennsylvania, with a focus on the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh markets. The social media ad highlights the threats posed by white nationalist, antisemitic extremists and urges young people to help counter these threats by making a plan to vote in the upcoming election.

“White nationalists marched in Charlottesville and murdered Jews in Pittsburgh. Peaceful protesters were attacked in Washington and Portland,” the ad reads. “Hate and intolerance are on the march but young Americans can change that. Every vote matters.”

The ad directs viewers to Pennsylvania’s official voter information site. It can be viewed here.

“It’s clear that white supremacist, antisemitic violence and hatred are on the rise in the United States,” said Logan Bayroff, Communications Director for JSEF. “With so much at stake, it’s vital that young people nationwide, and especially in a critical state like Pennsylvania, come out to vote and play a major role in deciding our country’s future.”

The J Street Education Fund educates and mobilizes pro-Israel, pro-peace Americans to help promote the organization’s Jewish and democratic values in communities and on college campuses across the country.
