Dounn Fellowship

J Street is looking to broaden our community of college students who organize and act together on behalf of a two-state solution and a more peaceful, secure, and democratic future for both Israelis and Palestinians. During this critical time in Israel and Palestine, having students who can represent a progressive Jewish voice on this issue and bring nuanced conversations to their campuses is all the more essential.

Through the Lonnie Dounn Fellowship, J Street will hire motivated students to represent the organization on their campuses in the 2021-2022 school year. Fellows will receive extensive mentorship and training as they run programs and engage students on their campuses around this important issue. Interested students should complete an application and demonstrate a commitment to J Street.

A strong preference will be given to fellows applying from campuses with little or no J Street U membership or chapters. Once hired, fellows will be required to participate in two onboarding sessions. Fellows will be paid $1000/semester and will be expected to work an average of 3-5 hours/week.
