J Street Condemns Latest Terror Attacks

July 1, 2016

J Street is saddened by a new series of terror attacks that have struck Israeli citizens this week. Following the horrifying murder of a 13 year-old girl in her own home in Hebron on Thursday, two more attacks have left Israelis grieving.

On Thursday evening, two people in the city of Netanya were wounded in a stabbing attack, carried out by a Palestinian man who was killed by police at the scene. On Friday, near Hebron, one person was killed and another three wounded when their car crashed after it was fired upon by armed Palestinians.

We hope for the rapid and complete recovery of the wounded. Our thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones, and with all Israelis feeling fear and anguish following these days of terror.

It must always be clear that there is no justification for acts of terror. This unacceptable violence accomplishes nothing, while spreading more grief and despair.
