Our Candidate: Gretchen Driskell is the Democratic nominee in Michigan’s 7th Congressional District (MI-07). Driskell served as the mayor of Saline, MI for fourteen years before defeating a Republican incumbent to win a seat in the Michigan House of Representatives, which she held for two terms. In 2016, she ran against Republican Rep. Tim Walberg in MI-07, coming up short with 40% of the vote. She is challenging Rep. Walberg, who has represented the district since 2007, to a rematch in 2018.
