We congratulate MK Reuven Rivlin on his election to become Israel’s tenth president and salute outgoing President Peres for his tremendous service to the State.
Peres’ shoes will be difficult to fill. We hope that President-elect Rivlin will follow his predecessor’s example, guiding Israel as a state for all its citizens–a beacon of democracy and Jewish values to the region and the world.
We look forward to working with President-elect Rivlin in the years ahead.
