J Street Board Member
Nancy is a donor and activist with organizations and leaders at the local, state and national level who protect democracy, address the causes of climate change, and improve the public health of all who reside here. Passions include improving air and water quality, women’s reproductive and racial justice, and housing security. She has also devoted years to Middle East Peace and has travelled to Israel and the Palestinian Territories repeatedly to better understand the challenges and opportunities for conflict resolution.
Nancy serves on the J Street National Board and was founder and co-chair of the local J Street Pittsburgh Chapter. She is a Vice President of the Diane and Norman Bernstein Foundation in Washington DC, and serves as a representative on the Social Venture Fund for Jewish Arab Equality and Shared Society. She resides in Pittsburgh with her husband Rocky Schoen.
