Southern J Street U Coordinator
Alan is a first generation American whose family fled the Soviet Union in 1991. He joins the J Street U team after working for the Jewish Democratic Council of America, where he was on the Outreach and Events teams. Alan graduated a semester early from Michigan State University with a BA in International Relations and minors in Russian Studies and Jewish Studies. While in East Lansing, he ran two large student groups (Spartans for Biden, Spartans for Israel), and was very active in putting pressure on the University to reform an ineffective and deeply unpopular Office of Institutional Equity. Alan spent his childhood growing up in D.C, Michigan, and New York City, and in his free time loves to play tennis, go on walks, watch basketball, and spend time with friends.
