An American-Israeli facilitator and peacebuilder, Cecilia has spent the last decade working toward a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In Israel, she managed the American Corner, a joint project between the Arab-Jewish Community Center and the US Embassy. Cecilia worked for the Shimon Peres Center for Peace on a policy and advocacy project to reduce Palestinian transaction costs. As a social entrepreneur, Cecilia co-founded and facilitated the Ridgefield Group, empowering Israeli Jewish and Palestinian activists to define a shared society in Israel, and founded Sesamaise Tahini, an innovative peacebuilding business. She recently moved to Los Angeles with her husband, and spends her free time giving workshops on “Hard Conversations,” cooking and volunteering for IKAR’s young adult community. She has a BA from Colgate University and an MA in Conflict Resolution and Non-Profit Management from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.
