J Street applauds and joins with Israeli and Jewish leaders from across the political spectrum in rejecting yesterday’s incendiary and hateful arson attack at a West Bank mosque, believed to have been perpetrated by right-wing Jewish settlers.
Prime Minster Netanyahu,
Defense Minister Barak, and
Opposition Leader Tzipi Livni all offered strong words condemning the attack. We also echo the Anti-Defamation League’s
statement condemning the outrageous attack and calling for political opposition to be expressed in peaceful and legal ways.
