J Street Welcomes Dermer as New Israeli Ambassador

J Street President Jeremy Ben-Ami welcomed the appointment of Ron Dermer to be Israel’s next ambassador to the US and thanked Ambassador Michael Oren for his tenure. “We welcome Ron Dermer back to the United States and look forward to working closely with him here in Washington,” said Ben-Ami. “Ambassador Oren has served the State of Israel as a passionate advocate for the US-Israel alliance. We have valued our interactions with him over these past four years and wish him luck in his future endeavors.”
