With Primary Victories, JStreetPAC Adds 3 More to Largest Ever Slate
WASHINGTON, DC –JStreetPAC announced today that it was extending its full endorsement to three candidates who won their primary races on Tuesday.
Katie McGinty (PA-Sen.), Chris Van Hollen (MD-Sen.) and Jamie Raskin (MD-8) had all previously received JStreetPAC’s “On the Street” status — a non-exclusive endorsement in a competitive primary, which allows J Street members to contribute to candidates through the PAC.
“We congratulate these candidates on their victories, and we could not be more excited to put our full support behind them heading into the general election,” said Ben Shnider, J Street’s National Political Director. “These are some of the most exciting rising political stars in the country, and we’re glad to add them to the growing list of pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-diplomacy voices set to join the next Congress.”
JStreetPAC has been the largest pro-Israel PAC in the country since it’s founding in 2008, and has increased its total fundraising in every election cycle since. It has already endorsed over 100 candidates for the House and Senate in 2016, and announced plans to raise over $3 million this cycle.
