What to Expect

The J Street Convention takes place approximately every 18 months and is the largest gathering of pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy activists in the United States. This year, our mission to create a better future for Israelis and Palestinians has become increasingly critical.

As we confront the full scope of Hamas’ heinous terror attack on October 7, 2023, the ensuing Israel-Hamas war and humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and the general state of devastation for Israelis and Palestinians, our convention will serve as a gathering space to mourn and reflect, to ask difficult questions and chart a better, brighter path forward.

Our 2024 convention will bring together J Street supporters from across the country to learn more about our issue area, hear from leading experts and politicians, and advocate for our priorities on Capitol Hill.

Saturday night kicks off the J Street Convention with an inspiring opening program. The following two days feature a mix of plenary and breakout sessions, networking and social opportunities, and film and art showcases. The convention will feature over 100 speakers from the worlds of foreign policy, politics, and peacebuilding and host dozens of partner organizations.

On Tuesday, April 9, convention participants will head to Capitol Hill to meet with their representatives to advocate for our priorities (more information below).
