FAQs

1. What constitutes a synagogue delegation and what is the discount?

A synagogue delegation is 5 or more people who register from one synagogue. Rabbis, cantors, rabbinic and cantorial students can count as members of a delegation. The discount is 20% of the registration fee. The delegation discount does not apply to sponsorships, student tickets or heavily reduced price tickets (50-75% off).  The discount is taken at the time of the registration and J Street reserves the right to charge those who received the discount (equal to their 20% discount) if 5 people from a synagogue do not register.

2. How do I request a synagogue delegation code?

Requesting a synagogue delegation code is easy! You can contact your regional J Street staff member or Shaina Wasserman, Director of Rabbinic and Community Engagement (shaina@jstreet.org), for the information needed. The only information you need to register is the name of the congregation, the city and the state.

3. How do I register with the synagogue delegation code?

When you register for the conference and arrive on the payments page, there will be a box to enter promotional codes.

4. When will we know who is speaking at the conference? When will a preliminary program be available?

The conference program is complicated to put together with over 100 speakers, 30 breakouts sessions and 4 main stage plenaries. As we have permission from speakers to post them we will add them to the conference website, and will keep the list of speakers up to date on a weekly basis.

On the conference program, we try and provide a preliminary program around mid-March as we try to be as responsive to current events as possible. We will post this on the conference website as well.

5. Who should I contact if I’m having trouble registering or someone whom I am recruiting is having trouble?

Please contact the regional staff person first to make sure your issue gets resolved.

Capital/South – Tali DeGroot ([email protected])
New England – Cooper Boyar ([email protected])
Tri-State / Pennsylvania – Adam Steinberg ([email protected])
Midwest – Olga Blyumin ([email protected])
Northwest – Kyle Fradkin ([email protected])
Southwest – Hannah Nayowith ([email protected])

If they have trouble, they will be in touch with the national office to have the issue figured out.
